Sagittarius Season All Sign Tarot Reading

The Sun recently moved into Sagittarius and with it, a fresh fire energy in stark contrast to the watery, emotional reams of Scorpio season we just passed through.

Many of us experienced change, growth and a revisit to past baggage thanks to slow-moving Pluto’s shift into Aquarius. Pluto has been in Capricorn for the past 16 years, and fellow cardinal signs Aries, Cancer and Libra likely felt this movement most - but Astrology affects us all in some way.

Did ancient history from 2008 pop up for you? I know it did for me! I have Capricorn in my 7th house of relationships and realised I started the most toxic relationship of my life in 2008, and I am now in a place where I do relationships very differently. That was my main Pluto lesson.

As Pluto enters its new transit through Aquarius for the next 20 years, fellow fixed signs Taurus, Leo and Scorpio will be entering a new cycle of growth. 

This isn’t something to add to the anxiety list - Astrology can be a great source of comfort if used in a way where we release the idea that we can control everything and that there is a bigger purpose playing out for us individually and as a collective. We can also choose to believe this is for our greater good and development.

This month I would like to offer you another tool to provide insight and guidance for this new Astrological month. The Sun will be in Sagittarius until around the 21st of December. Let’s have a little look at what you can expect.

Aries - The Magician

You have the world at your fingertips this month - but for some reason, I am seeing this as a potential overuse of screen time. You have power and drive right now thanks to Sagittarius (a fellow fire sign) lighting that spark for you. I think this card is a gentle suggestion to make you aware of where you are spending your time and what you could be doing instead to direct that passionate energy into something that will nurture you back. I’m seeing seeds being planted, cared for, and blooming. It’s Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, so this is metaphorical of planting intention into the things that will grow and give back to you.

Taurus - Nine of Pentacles

Nine of pentacles is a card of abundance and growth. For some reason I am hearing that you have been having a hard time recently, feeling a sense of lack - but that is about to change. While your external world might not shift drastically, your mindset is getting a reboot. This may be due to the expansive and knowledge-seeking sign of Aquarius being in Pluto for the next 20 years. You have an exciting journey ahead of you, but for now, I think you are being asked to get your mindset right and connect with nature to fully embrace how rich you really are. If you feel restricted by city living, or being confined to loud spaces - when meditating try visualisations that take you away to serene and calming places. This will ignite your imagination and help you connect more with the life you are envisioning

Gemini - The Hierophant

You may be contemplating two schools of thought this month, deciding which set of morals, beliefs and ways of being you truly want to live by. The Hierophant speaks of a Teacher, whether that is someone you come across whose ideas strike a chord with you, or whether you are about to embark on your own path of self-teaching. The imagery is telling me the message is “stop, slow down and remember your own power”. This month be careful not to give your power away and let someone else control how you should be, think or feel. Make sure whatever guidance you are seeking rings true to your own moral compass. Sit in quiet contemplation with no distractions to help you discover what is “the right thing” for you, and really listen.

Cancer - Eight of Wands Reversed

There is someone riding a motorbike on this card and it's reminding me of the Chariot card in this deck, which happens to correspond to the sign of Cancer. Both cards have a drive behind them to make a new start or dedicate themselves to something. While I think this energy is here, the reversal indicates to me that you might be pushing yourself a bit too much and to remember that everyone has different energy levels. Human Design is a school of thought that may interest you which considers that each individual brings different ways of working to the table. As an example, Projectors are able to produce high-quality results by concentrating intensely for a few hours, then they need rest. Generators are able to sustain their energy. Neither is better than the other, it’s just about honouring your own energy levels and remembering to pace yourself.

Leo - Wheel of Fortune Reversed

I think this may be a reflection of Pluto’s recent move into Aquarius. The sign of Aquarius is what’s known as a “fixed” sign, just like yourself, Taurus and Scorpio - all of which are depicted on this card. Fixed signs are known to be focused and dedicated to the right cause or relationship. The reversal here tells me these signs particularly are being asked to allow this new flow of energy. There are literally people on this card laying on the wheel and letting it take them in the direction it is turning. It represents the wheel of life and our continuous rebirth cycles. This card is encouraging you not to fear the future and to just allow things to unfold, trusting that future you can handle whatever comes your way because of all the lessons you have learned so far in your life. Concentrate on building the future you want, and try to stay away from negative thinking where possible.

Virgo - Two of Swords

The first word I heard was “indecision” but there is also a feeling that you have been locked in this state for some time now, enough time that you are starting to get a handle on the situation and how to manage your thoughts when you are overcome by analysis paralysis. It’s almost as if since you have dealt with so much uncertainty and anxiety, you have been forced to really understand the difference between intuition and fear, and you’re getting better and better at this every day. The more you trust those small nudges (intuition is never loud and scary, it’s subtle and calm) the more you trust yourself and build your confidence. I am feeling a lot of acceptance with this card, and a sense of realisation that the only real thing you can control is how to handle your thoughts. You are so close to mastering this.

Libra  - Ace of Swords

Life has literally been raining lemons non-stop and you have not wanted to make lemonade - you have been out there with your sword expending your energy trying to make it stop. This is a metaphor of course, but it feels that you have been trying to make a new start in your life and keep being met with setbacks. You are a cardinal sign along with Cancer, Aries and Capricorn. Pluto has been in Capricorn for the past 16 YEARS! Since you are Astro cousins with Capricorn, this has been having a ripple effect in your life and understandably, you’re at your wit’s end. The clouds are clearing, Pluto is moving signs, the Sun is coming up and with all the resilience you’ve had to cultivate, you will be capable of handling it when it inevitably rains again. For now though, you can lay your sword down and enjoy the sunshine.

Scorpio - Justice

I feel like there is something here to do with Libra energy, or a Libra in your life since this is their Tarot card. You may want to read Libra’s horoscope as this may resonate for you a little. Aside from that, this month I think you are learning about balance. Scorpio energy is most known for its ability to be in the depths of healing and uncovering root issues to alchemise them into self-development or growth. Perhaps this month, you can take a break just for a little while and enjoy the free-spirited and expansive energy of Sagittarius. If you still need to scratch that itch of curiosity and investigation - getting stuck into a study session of Ancient knowledge or even a fantasy book might offer a break from heavy internal focus. Take a trip somewhere if you can, with old architecture and inspiring stories to spark your creativity so you can express yourself for the pure fun of it.

Sagittarius - The Emperor

Happy Birthday, Sagittarius! This is your season and The Emperor is giving you a confidence boost. I’m hearing “top of your game”. Even if you don’t feel like this right now, the Sun shining in your sign should be lighting this up for you over the coming month. In this deck the Emperor holds the Ankh - symbolising life cycles and the Sun’s energy as it rises over the Horizon. Birthdays can be a time for reflection. I don’t know the kind of year you have had but I get the feeling you have learned and overcome a lot. It might be worth writing down what has made you feel proud this past year, it doesn’t have to be big things, in fact, smaller sometimes work best. I am practising this in my own life to build my self-esteem. Something as simple as “I gave my cat his medicine” helps me see I am caring and responsible which over time will boost my confidence. Try it for yourself over the next month as a birthday gift of self-love and appreciation for all you have done

Capricorn - Five of Pentacles

I heard “sheltering against the storm”. The scene depicted on this card is two people wrapping up warm and bracing themselves against the snow. They walk past a glowing window of an inviting-looking building, potentially a church. To me this represents community and finding little pockets of light during tough times, as well as being that light for others. I was drawn most to the person wearing a fluffy green jacket. I think this represents you as an Earth sign and is known for being loyal and someone others can rely on. Perhaps you are being appreciated for being a place of warmth and comfort for loved ones and reminded that you are not alone and there are places of support and comfort for you as well when you need it.

Aquarius - Page of Pentacles Reversed

I feel you are contemplating something, perhaps a move or area of study you might want to embark on, but something is making you pause and reflect before taking the plunge. You seem to have a young spirit or are rediscovering that part of yourself through considering travel or higher education. I think there may be a concern here around the material realm and security in that area if you do decide to make a change. I think the simple message of this card is to be practical and factor your material comfort into this decision, but perhaps don’t base the entire thought process on it. Life is risky either way, so we may as well step outside our comfort zone (in a gradual and safe way) where we can. Put your baggage down and contemplate or meditate with no distractions, the reading for Gemini may resonate with you as well.

Pisces - King of Swords

Pisces is known for being one of the more ethereal, boundless signs since it is associated with the fish and dreamy Planet Neptune. Interesting then that you have the King of boundaries, who knows their own limits and takes care to be clear about those where necessary. In this deck, the butterflies on the King’s throne feel important to your reading - perhaps indicating that you have been on a path of transformation and change. The planet Saturn has been in your sign for the past few years which teaches about structure, discipline and boundaries. It seems that you are learning to integrate your lessons on boundaries this month. Many of us have the holidays coming up and this can be a time of family gatherings, so perhaps you will have to exercise your will and be more assertive - remembering your true Piscean nature of kindness and compassion in the process.
