Astrology 101: Why Your Rising Sign Is So Important And How To Find It
Many of us know about our Sun sign: whether we are an Aries, Pisces, Leo, etc. This is decided by the month we were born in.
This info is just the tip of the iceberg in Astrology. Digging a little deeper, we can uncover much more.
Your rising sign is the starting point for how the cosmic confetti lands and shapes you. It forms the entire foundation of your birth chart and opens up a whole world of self-discovery.

Astrology 101: How To Find Your Moon Sign And Use It To Support Yourself
What is a Moon sign?
Our Moon is constantly moving. It spins through the zodiac and changes signs every three days as it orbits the Earth. When the Moon is closest to the Sun, we have a New Moon. When the Moon is opposite the Sun, we have a Full Moon.
The day you were born, whatever star constellation the Moon was in, is your Moon sign.
How to find your Moon sign
To find what sign the Moon was in when you were born, you can use a calculator like this one. You’ll need your date, time and location of birth. You can also speak with an Astrologer who can look this and many other things up for you.

Pisces Season All Sign Tarot Reading
We recently stepped into Pisces season, and with it comes a Pisces stellium. This means there are 3 or more planets in this sign.
Right now, we have the Sun, Saturn and Neptune in the watery, ethereal realm of Pisces. An honorable mention also goes to the The North Node in Pisces, being in opposition to the South Node in Virgo.
Collectively, it seems we are balancing the physical and the practical. We are coming to accept and integrate our spiritual nature and reconcile that with having to exist in a man-made world.

How My Life Completely Transformed After My Saturn Return
It was 2017. I found myself, not for the first time that week sitting in the bath, staring into space, grinding my teeth and trying to quiet a swirl of inner noise.
My brain was in overdrive. It kept telling me the same thing over and over again. It had been telling me this for a couple of years now. I'd been ignoring it of course.
My 30s were fast approaching and I know now - through my studies with Astrology, my Saturn return was on the horizon. Things were in motion that were much bigger than me and I would have to adapt and evolve at some point.
What is a Saturn Return?
When you were born, all the planets in the sky were in certain positions that created certain energies. In the world of Astrology, these energies influence the karma and fate of your life.
Saturn was one of these planets. Saturn in Astrology is a Teacher archetype. It represents boundaries, discipline, hard work and responsibility.

January 2025 Astrology Highlights
The following is a summary of the Astrology of the month. I’ll go over which planets are making moves and how it will affect us little guys down here.
Most significantly, The Lunar Nodes are changing signs. This transit will affect us for a while. We also have Venus moving into Pisces - bringing compassionate and loving energy along with it, Mars retrograde in Cancer, and Mercury moving into Capricorn.
Mercury is small and fast. This means it changes zodiac signs fairly regularly. So though this isn’t front-page news, Capricorn and Mercury are a friendly pairing and so this could prove useful!
This may help to mitigate the more challenging Cancer/Mars pairing, who feel a bit like two colleagues forced to collaborate on a work project. They bring very different ideas on how to get things done. One keeps getting upset, the other frustrated. It’s not the best, but it’s doable if everyone keeps it respectful! Astrology is vast, and this is just a snapshot so take what resonates, leave the rest!

Sagittarius Season All Sign Tarot Reading
As Pluto enters it’s new transit through Aquarius for the next 20 years, fellow fixed signs Taurus, Leo and Scorpio will be entering a new cycle of growth.
This isn’t something to add to the anxiety list - Astrology can be a great source of comfort if used in a way where we release the idea that we can control everything, and that there is a bigger purpose playing out for us individually, and as a collective. We can also choose to believe this is for our greater good and development.

How To Add Magic To Your Life - Becoming A House Witch
Most of Witchcraft is about intention. The Witches (Wise Women) before us would have had to work with what they had, mainly natural items and household objects to create magic, beauty or protection in their lives.
I came to Witchcraft because I felt lost, and I wanted to find some sort of meaning in my life. I turned to nature, which is also the foundation of Witchcraft. Simple herbs and items found in your local wild spaces as well as your own creativity are a perfect place to start.
Your home, no matter how big or small is your sacred space and even if you are very limited in what you can do, there are always small and simple ways you can practice this craft.

New Moon in Scorpio November 2024: What It Means for You
The New Moon is often a time of reflection, setting intentions and releasing old baggage that may be blocking our chosen path. Scorpio amplifies this energy, especially since it marks the start of darker evenings in the Northern Hemisphere and the celebration of Samhain where we think back to the past and our Ancestors.
Scorpio energy brings with it a sense of turning inward, getting quieter and contemplating life’s big questions. Scorpio does not usually play around on the surface or skip over uncomfortable things. Scorpio is a truth seeker and will give it to you straight, even if it stings a little bit.

Embracing Change: Navigating Scorpio Season's Depths
We are now in Scorpio season, a sign associated with change transformation, death and rebirth. These themes may play out for us until November 21st when the sun will change signs into Sagittarius.
Before I get into it, I just want to be clear that Scorpio doesn’t always mean literal death - it’s often metaphorical and speaks to some type of change. Releasing old ways of being, doing or thinking and making way for the new.

The Witches New Year: What Does The Spirit Of Samhain Mean To You?
We are fast approaching almost every Witch’s absolute favourite time of year, Samhain. But what does this mean for you and your practice? And why is it so special to the witchcraft community?
There are hundreds of blogs, posts, books and content surrounding this topic. You can easily go down a huge rabbit hole on this subject, as with all things witchcraft-related. I will try to recommend some books at the end of this post for further reading if that calls you!
But for now, to keep things simple - Samhain is a Pagan holiday that is celebrated at the same time as Halloween. You could say Halloween is the tree that grew from the deep, ancient roots of Samhain.

Full Moon in Aries October 2024: What It Means for You
Think back to six months ago, back in April when we had a New Moon in Aries.
What seeds were you planting that may have now bloomed in full? Or perhaps a theme began to make itself known in your life, where you had to repeatedly assert yourself or embark on a journey of true authenticity?
The Aries Full Moon highlights themes of self-identity, personal goals, and drive. It's a powerful period for self-reflection and understanding how your actions align with your true self.
